Community-Led 💬 What's on the Minds of Early Adopters #5
Every Company is Becoming a Data Company and Welcome to Sudip!
Welcome to Community-Led. Each week we connect founders to dozens of early adopters and technology executives in fast growing startups and Fortune 500 companies. This newsletter surfaces the most interesting insights and conversations across the >1,000 members of the Decibel community every month. Let’s dive in!
Over the past few months, we met with over 50 Chief Digital Officers, growth marketing, e-commerce and performance engineering leaders across industries, verticals, and market segments. Among a number of seemingly different companies, we found common areas of focus: digital transformation, hyper-personalization, quality two-way customer communication, and the importance of tracking impact with granular data insights. In other words, data data data.
The future of growth marketing for any business, whether brick and mortar or e-commerce, is dependent on the ability to identify and deliver on customer preferences by leveraging modern approaches to Big Data and efficient/effective deployments of production AI. Successful businesses will have the right systems ready to deliver the data and the right teams, empowered with modern tools, to turn the now massive, deep, data lakes into valuable, useful information for both the business and the customers.

One Big Trend Worth Your Time
You can use the right tech, integrate with the right APIs, and run your business as intelligently as possible. But, will all of that equate to a crystal ball? Will you be able to spot the future of the e-commerce industry before it comes to fruition?
An easier way to spot the future is to not take the task on solo. Here are the trends that experts are paying attention to in order to stay one step ahead.
An Inside Look at Innovation
Every company is becoming a data company, and we are all looking for ways to let data flow naturally throughout every part of our business. This is where Cube has solved a real pain point: any time an employee, customer, or application needs access to a rich set of data in real time, Cube has a way to help.
With thousands of companies using Cube today, the use cases span almost every industry. One user built an application which helps oncologists view patient data in real time to help them with their cancer care. Another early adopter built a learning dashboard for online coursework to help teachers determine which students require immediate help during class. The possibilities for how data can change our world are endless, and we are really excited to see what Cube early adopters do next!
