Community-Led 💬 What's on the Minds of Early Adopters #3
"Data is the new oil", the time is now for AI ethics and governance, and got Shadow IT?
Welcome to Community-Led. Each week we connect founders to dozens of early adopters and technology executives in fast growing startups and Fortune 500 companies. This newsletter surfaces the most interesting insights and conversations across the >1,000 members of the Decibel community every month. Let’s dive in!
One of the largest and most innovative communities of software developers emerged this week in an unusually effervescent place: Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewing company and home to one of the best known brands: Budweiser. Their Beer Tech Guild is a global community of developers pushing the boundaries for how a >150 year old company can move quickly to embrace DevOps while rising to meet the challenges of new cybersecurity challenges that attack both our digital supply chains. The Colonial Pipeline showed us what can go wrong when natural gas pipelines shut down - I can only imagine how much worse off we would be if the beer stops pouring. Our founders are working hard to make sure this doesn’t become a reality!
